Emma J Shipley is a graphic artist who takes inspiration from patterns in nature, mythical stories and botanical art. Emma painstakingly draws each design by hand in pencil, fusing highly skilled draughtsmanship with a subversive imagination.
Emma studied at the Royal College of Art and was awarded a number of prizes during her studies, in particular for excellence in drawing and her use of colour. Emma has won the Emerging Fashion Brand prize at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards and the RISE Newcomer Award at the UK Fashion & Textile Awards.
